Accessible names and keyboard use

Accessible names and keyboard use

Use semantic controls, visible focus styles, meaningful headings and labels. Keyboard users should be able to reach interactive elements with Tab and activate them with Enter or Space. Avoid positive tabindex values and do not remove focus outlines without a clear replacement.

Try it yourself

Change the example, run it, and explain the result in your own words. Then create one variation of your own.

Key idea

Use the example as a starting point, not something to memorize. Practise, inspect the result and make small improvements.
